O’Donoghue Builders was founded by Eugene O’Donoghue in 1992. Mr. O’Donoghue was born in Ireland where he obtained an engineering degree. He immigrated to Chicago in 1981 and put his engineering background to use in the construction industry. His experiences include carpentry, masonry and construction management on numerous residential and commercial projects.
Mr. O’Donoghue works with every customer, striving to enhance plans and create unique opportunities with each project. Throughout the project, communication remains open to capitalize on opportunities and maximize details of final construction both inside and out. As you review the gallery of homes, you will see O’Donoghue Builders’ ability to blend architecture with neighborhoods and create interior space to compliment a family’s lifestyle.
O’Donoghue Builders works with many architects, but has partnered with architects Raino–Ogden and Antonio Fanizza as well as the nationally recognized designer David McNulty. In 2003, the kitchen design of a Park Ridge home, designed by McNulty and constructed by O’Donoghue Builders, was featured in an issue of "Signature Kitchens and Baths" professional resource magazine. O’Donoghue Builders was named as the company that closely worked with David McNulty to create the innovative kitchen design.
Eugene O’Donoghue lives with his wife and three daughters in the Edgebrook neighborhood of Chicago.
